PTSA Committees
Budget Committee deals with the PTSA Budget, providing guidance to the PTSA Treasurer.
Building Initiative Committee works with the TJ community in addressing both short-term health and safety problems and the longer term issue of getting a modern facility that can support the educational mission of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
Curriculum Advisory Committee is advisory to the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) Principal and faculty on curricular issues.
Directory Committee is in charge of compiling the information for the student directory, as well as the production and distribution of the directory.
Diversity Committee promotes diversity within the TJHSST community.
Government Relations Committee serves as the liaison to other groups in our community with an interest in TJ, including our state legislators and other Governor's School parents.
Landscaping Committee works year round beautifying TJ's grounds by planning, installing, and nurturing the garden beds.
Newsletter Committee is in charge of editing, publishing and distributing the monthly PTSA Newsletter, "Tech Cetera".

Non PTSA Committees
Although these committees are not part of the PTSA, we provide these pages as a courtesy because they are of general interest to PTSA members.
Human Relations Committee serves as a forum through which all groups may express human relations concerns and may be consulted about and involved in efforts to promote good human relations within the school.
Student Services Advisory Board meets to discuss any issues that affect the students at TJ. Students, parents, and faculty are welcome.
