2009 Homecoming Dance Guest Form

Hey TJ!

The Homecoming Dance is just around the corner (Saturday, October 3rd) with Asking Week just two weeks after school begins.

If you would like to bring a date from another school (it MUST be a high schooler), you are required to fill out a guest form. Do NOT wait until the last week to fill out this form, as several signatures are required (ex. Dr. Glazer, who is tough to track down).

If you cannot open the guest form posted here, please contact any of the SGA Officers at tjhsstsga@googlegroups.com.

Hey Class of 2013!

Here is the Froshcomm application that we promised. Please send your completed information form and application essay to tjhsstsga@googlegroups.com by Wednesday, August 5th. If you do not have access to a computer after today, you can always snail mail your forms to the following address:

Just remember that your letter must be postmarked by August 5th or it may not be reviewed on time. The strict deadline is so that we can notify the new Froshcomm team as soon as possible. The start of the new 2009-2010 school year is fastly approaching.

Honors Weights at TJ

The FCPS School Board is working on a new system of awarding a .5 Honors Credit for some honors classes. Under the proposed plan, TJ's science elective courses and languages will not be considered honors-level. SGA is developing a proposal to the Board for what TJ students think is fair.
